PRJ98: Calendar Year Does Not Change in Date Drop-Down (197364)

SYMPTOMS

When you increase or decrease the year in a date calendar drop-down control, Microsoft Project 98 does not retain the change.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when the Date Format setting for the project does not display the year.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, change the Date Format setting for the project to display the year. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options. Then, click the View tab.
  2. In the Date Format list, click to select a format that includes the date and the year.
  3. Click OK.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
