PI: Cannot Open Picture Error with Some MIX Files (196380)

If you try to open a MIX file in Microsoft Picture It!, you may receive the
following error:
Cannot Open Picture
<filename>
Picture It! cannot open this file.
It uses effects that are not supported
by this version of Picture It!.
The same MIX file will open in other applications that support MIX format
(such as Microsoft Word).
CAUSE
The MIX file was saved from Microsoft PhotoDraw 2000. The problem is caused
by a problem in Microsoft Picture It!.
RESOLUTION
Save the file in another format before opening in Picture It!. Note that
the layered objects that the MIX format preserves will be flattened into a
single picture.
