SBS: Share Point for Proxy Client Identical to Proxy Retail (196099)

SUMMARY

Proxy Server 2.0 is an integral part of Small Business Server (SBS) 4.5 and will be installed automatically during the setup of the SBS server. Proxy Server will be installed into the following folder:

SystemRoot:\MSP

NOTE: SystemRoot is the hard disk where SBS 4.5 was installed.

A share point for the proxy client to be installed from, will be created in the following subfolder:

SystemRoot:\MSP\clients

This share point will be shared as:

\\Servername\Mspclnt

NOTE: Servername is the computer name of the SBS server.

The previous version of SBS did not install the Proxy share point to the same location as the retail version of Proxy. With SBS 4.5, Proxy 2.0 installs to the same locations as the retail version of Proxy 2.0.
