SUMMARY

Selecting the Send and Receive option in Microsoft Outlook 2000 (IMO), displays a dialog box during the downloading of your e-mail. This dialog box contains an option to "Always hide this dialog." After selecting this option, you will no longer see this dialog box. This article tells how to display this dialog box again should you need it.

MORE INFORMATION

After hiding the dialog box displayed during the download of your e-mail, Outlook displays an icon on the right end of the Status Bar. You can click this icon and then click to select Details from the shortcut menu. Outlook will then display the dialog box and give you an opportunity to remove the option to hide it.

NOTE: You must do this while downloading your e-mail. After the download is complete, the icon and the dialog box disappear.
