SUMMARY

When you configure multiple accounts with the Internet E-mail Service for Microsoft Outlook 2000 Corporate or Workgroup (CW), there is no method available to schedule different connection times for each account.

MORE INFORMATION

With the Corporate or Workgroup functionality, you can configure multiple Internet E-mail accounts in the same profile. However, the Internet E-mail service does not provide a method of configuring different connection schedules for each account. You can only configure one schedule for all Internet E-mail connections.

To access the connection schedule setting, follow these steps:

  1. Open Outlook using your Internet E-mail profile.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. Click the Internet E-mail tab.
  4. Click to select the "Check my local network connections(s) for new mail every <number> minute(s)" check box.
  5. Type the number of minutes for the interval you want the program to wait between checking for your Internet Mail.
  6. Click Apply and OK to make your settings active.
