Microsoft Publisher 98 installs a number of text filters that allow you to
import or use a variety of text documents created in other applications.
The following text converter filters are installed by Microsoft Publisher
98:
- Word 97 for Windows/Macintosh Converter
- Word 6.0/95 for Windows/Macintosh Converter
- Word 2.x for Windows Converter
- Word 97 & 6.0/95 RTF Converter
- Works 3.0 for Windows Converter
- Works 4.0 for Windows Converter
- WordPerfect 5.x Converter
- WordPerfect 6.x Converter
- Windows Write Converter
NOTE: Microsoft Publisher can also import plain text documents although no
filter is installed for plain documents.
MORE INFORMATION
Various applications may also install other text converters and filters
that Microsoft Publisher 98 may be able to use to import various documents
created in other applications. However, only those filters installed by
Microsoft Publisher 98 have been verified to work for importing documents
into Publisher.
