SYMPTOMS

While you are using Microsoft Home Publishing 99, you may receive a "general protection fault" error message if you click a thumbnail preview while you are creating a Paper Project.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if both of the following conditions are true:
  • A Matrox Impression, Millennium, or Mystique display adapter is installed in your computer.
  • You are using an outdated video driver for the display adapter.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, download and install the latest video driver for your display adapter from the following Matrox Web site:
