This article describes how to set a default folder in which to store files you download using the Works Communications module.

To set a default folder for the files you download, follow these steps:

  1. Start Works, and then open the Communications module.
  2. On the Settings menu, click Transfer.
  3. The default folder is listed under Receive Directory. If you want to change the default folder, click Directory.
  4. In the Directories box, click the folder where you want to save your downloaded files, and then click OK.
  5. Click OK.
