SYMPTOMS

When you use the Microsoft Cordless Phone System, you may receive the following error message:
Msphone caused a general protection fault in module Nv3disp.drv.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you make or receive a call while the computer is in Standby mode.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact your hardware manufacturer to inquire about obtaining updated video drivers for your display adapter.
