MSPS: Call History Feature Does Not List Caller Names (194713)

SYMPTOMS

The Call History feature of Microsoft Call Manager may not list the names of incoming callers. Telephone numbers, dates and times of calls, and call lengths still appear in the Call History list.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the Caller ID service offered by your telephone company provides only the telephone number of incoming callers.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact your telephone company to inquire if they offer a Caller ID service that can provide both the name and the telephone number of incoming callers.
