ActiveSync Service Manager Truncates Inbox Text Messages (194151)

SYMPTOMS

When you synchronize the Inbox between your Handheld PC (H/PC) and desktop computer using Microsoft ActiveSync Service Manager, some text messages may be truncated.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if your Inbox contains text messages that exceed 15,999 characters. ActiveSync Service Manager truncates text messages after the first 15,999 characters.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft ActiveSync Service Manager.
