SUMMARY

Microsoft PhotoDraw uses the same MIX format that Microsoft Picture It! uses. PhotoDraw can open all the PictureArt Cutouts and Backgrounds that came with Picture It! versions 1.0, 2.0 and 99.

If you create a collage in Picture It! and save it as an Active Collage, all the elements in the "stack" will be preserved as separate objects when you open it in PhotoDraw.

MORE INFORMATION

In contrast, you may not be able to open all your PhotoDraw collages in Picture It!. This is because PhotoDraw supports some effects that Picture It! does not.
