SYMPTOMS

When you navigate to a Web page, you may receive one or more of the following error messages:
An error has occurred on the script on this page.
Line: 252
Char: 18
Error: Syntax error
Code: 0

An error has occurred on the script on this page.
Line: 500
Char: 4
Error: Expected Statement
Code: 0

-OR-

An error has occurred on the script on this page.
Line: 638
Char: 1
Error: Type mismatch: "FuncInitialize_Arrays"
Code: 0

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you are using the WRQ @Guard program and the Eliminate Script-Based Popup Windows feature is enabled.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, disable the Eliminate Script-Based Popup Windows feature, and then empty your Temporary Internet Files folder. To do so, use the following steps:

  1. Disable the Eliminate Script-Based Popup Windows feature. For information about how to do so, view the documentation included with @Guard, or contact WRQ.
  2. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Internet.
  3. Click Delete Files, click OK, and then click OK.
