XADM: Security Context Deleted and Initialized at Same Time (193215)

SYMPTOMS

When a thread deletes the security context from the cache for a particular user who is currently logged on, it is possible for another thread to initialize a security context for the same user at the same time. When the second thread attempts to find the security context in the cache, it is unable to do so.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Server version 5.5. For more information, please see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5. This problem was first corrected in Exchange Server 5.5 Service Pack 2.
