When you create or join a chat room in Microsoft Chat using the Internet
Relay Chat (IRC) /join command and you assign a password, the password is
not set up in the room's properties.
CAUSE
Most IRC servers do not set a channel key (password). In addition,
Microsoft Chat passes only the join request to the server when you use
the Join Room channel key.
STATUS
This behavior is by design. It is a server-specific feature and is
essentially a server limitation, not a client limitation.
