OLEXP: Number of News Headers to Download Is Not Updated (190415)

When you select a new number of newsgroup headers to download at one time,
it appears that the setting is not changed.
CAUSE
Newsgroup filters are applied to message headers at the time they are
downloaded. Because those messages in the current view have already been
downloaded, the filters are not applied until you initiate another download
of message headers.
RESOLUTION
To download the message headers again:
- On the Tools menu, click Download This Newsgroup.
- Click to select "Get the Following Items."
- Click to select New Headers, and click OK.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
