White Bars on Screen Running Internet Explorer in Full Screen Mode (190136)

SYMPTOMS

When you are running Internet Explorer in Full Screen mode, you may see white bars where the scroll bars should be.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you disable the scroll bars in Full Screen mode. When you do so, Internet Explorer sets the color to white instead of the default color assigned in the Display tool in Control Panel.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at the beginning of this article.
