This article provides information about substituting fonts when you convert presentations from the Apple Macintosh to the Microsoft Windows platform.

MORE INFORMATION

If you convert a presentation from the Macintosh to Windows, you might not have the same fonts on both computers. The following table shows how you can convert Macintosh fonts by replacing them with Windows fonts.

To replace a Macintosh font, click Replace Fonts on the Format menu. In the Replace and With boxes, click the fonts you want to replace and substitute. PowerPoint replaces the font but retains the Macintosh font name.

Note To replace either Zapf Dingbats or Zapf Chancery, you must have a Postscript printer set as the default printer for your system, otherwise the fonts will not be replaced.
