FP98: Error, FrontPage Editor Closes after Clicking Preview Tab (189879)

When you select a navigation bar in a shared border in FrontPage Editor,
switch to HTML view and delete some text, and then click the Preview tab
at the bottom of the window, you receive one of the following error
messages:
Windows NT
An application error has occurred and an application error log is
being generated.
FPEditor.exe
Exception access violation (Oxc0000005), Address: 0x67fc59c8
When you click OK, FrontPage Editor closes. Any changes you made to the
page since you last saved it are not retained.
Windows 95/Windows 98
FPEDITOR caused an invalid page fault in module FP30UTL.DLL
at 015f:67fc5a14.
Followed by this error:
FPEDITOR caused an invalid page fault in module MFC42.DLL
at 015f:5f4012b3.
RESOLUTION
You can resolve this problem by installing the FrontPage 98b binary
patch. You can obtain the patch at the following Microsoft World Wide
Web site:
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in the
Microsoft FrontPage 98b patch.
