OL98: (CW) Outlook May Not Start When Installed on Windows 98 (189535)

NOTE: These procedures only apply if you have installed Outlook with the
Corporate Workgroup/Other (CW) option. This option allows you to use
Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine
your installation type, on the Help Menu click About Microsoft Outlook. In
About Microsoft Outlook you should see "Corporate" if you have the
Corporate Workgroup installation.
SYMPTOMS
After installing Microsoft Outlook 98 on Microsoft Windows 98, you may get
the following error message when attempting to start it:
Cannot start Microsoft Outlook
Double-clicking the Mail and Fax icon in Control Panel, may bring no
response or may generate the following error message:
Not enough system resources
CAUSE
You have not installed the Windows Messaging System.
-or-
You are running a program named Internet Watchdog.
RESOLUTION
Install the Windows Messaging System and reinstall Outlook 98.
-or-
Close Internet Watchdog, and then remove and reinstall Outlook 98.
