To select the monitor in PowerPoint 98, follow these steps:
  1. On the Slide Show menu, click Set Up Show.
  2. Click Screen (this button is located at the bottom of the Set Up Show dialog box.)

    NOTE: The Screen button is visible only if two or more monitors are connected to your computer.

    You should see icons representing your display devices.
  3. Select the monitor on which you want the presentation to appear.

    The icon with the menu bar across the top is the device selected as your main monitor in the Monitors control panel.
  4. Click OK.
The slide show runs only on the display you selected. This setting is saved with the presentation.
