Plus! 98: Computer Hangs When Running Full-Screen MS-DOS Program (188489)

SYMPTOMS

When you run an MS-DOS program in full-screen mode, your computer may stop responding (hang).

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you use either the Organic Art or Windows 98 screen savers included in Plus! 98.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, use a screen saver other than Organic Art or Windows 98.

For information about how to change a screen saver, click Start, click Help, click the Index tab, type screen savers, setting up, and then click Display.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Plus! 98, version 1.0.
