This article describes how to find program specific settings for
the Apple LaserWriter 8.4.x printer driver (this version of the print
driver ships with the Macintosh System Software 7.6.1 and 8). With earlier
versions of the LaserWriter printer driver, the program settings appeared
on the default screen of the Print dialog box. With the LaserWriter 8.4.x
driver, the general print options appear on the default screen.
To see the program specific printing options for the Apple LaserWriter
8.4.x printer driver, follow these steps:
- On the File Menu, click Print.
- Click Print Options and then click the program you want. For example,
click Microsoft Word.
NOTE: Clicking Save Settings does not save the currently selected printer
option (for example, program or Background Printing). General is always
the default option.
