When you place your Toshiba 740CDT laptop computer into its docking
station, your computer may stop responding (hang).
CAUSE
This behavior can be caused by an interrupt (IRQ) conflict between the
network adapter and the sound subsystem.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, contact Toshiba to inquire about the availability
of a the Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) update.
To work around this issue, you can disable the sound subsystem or the
network adapter. For information about disabling the network adapter or
sound subsystem, consult your computer's documentation or manufacturer.
