SUMMARY

The Set Up Show dialog box in PowerPoint contains a Screen button. You can use this button (which is only available if your computer has two or more monitors attached to it) to choose which screen your slide show runs on when you run your slide show in full screen mode.

You can also set up your slide show so that it runs in a window instead of in full screen mode. If you do this, PowerPoint ignores the settings in the Screen dialog box.

To control which display your windowed slide show runs on, simply drag the window to the proper screen.

The Screen button is only necessary if you are running your presentation as a full screen slide show. You cannot drag full screen programs from one screen to another.

To run your slide show in a window, follow these steps:
  1. On the Slide Show menu, click Set Up Show.
  2. Click the Browsed by Individual (Window) button.
  3. Click OK.
To choose which screen a full screen slide show will appear on, follow these steps:
  1. On the Slide Show menu, click Set Up Show.
  2. Click the Screen button (only available on a multiple monitor system).
  3. In the Screen dialog box, click the icon that represents the screen that you want to use.
  4. Click OK twice.
