Cannot See Text in Comic Character Balloons (187706)

SYMPTOMS

When you are using comic characters with Microsoft Chat, you may be unable to see the text in any of the balloons.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the color of the balloon font is white. Because the balloon background is white, the balloon text is not visible.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. On the View menu, click Options.
  2. Click Comics View, and then click Change Font.
  3. In the Color box, click to select the color you want.
  4. Click OK, and then click OK again.
