Cannot Drag and Drop UNC Path When in Add/Remove Programs (187051)

SYMPTOMS

In the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel, when you click Install, you can browse for the setup executable but you may not drag and drop the UNC to another window. Another limitation is that, when you are using the click Install from the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel, the command line for installation program has a 96 characters limitation.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT 4.0 Server, Terminal Server Edition.
