When you copy and paste a large number of files into a compressed folder,
the performance of your computer is significantly reduced as the files are
copied and pasted.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, use one of the following methods:
Method 1
Select the files you want to copy, and then drag the selected files into
the compressed folder.
Method 2
Select the files you want to copy, right-click the selected files, point to
Send To, and then click Compressed Folder.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Plus! 98, version 1.0.
