SYMPTOMS

The following dialing rule changes were implemented in Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4:

  • Madagascar: International Calling Prefix changed from "16" to "00"
  • Namibia: International Calling Prefix changed from "09" to "00"
  • Spain: International Calling Prefix changed from "07" to "00"
  • Chile: "0" Prefix dropped for long-distance calls

RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Windows NT 4.0 and Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4.0 and Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition Service Pack 4.
