SYMPTOMS

When you play Microsoft Spider Solitaire, the playing cards may overlap.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if your display resolution is set to 640 x 480 or you do not maximize the Spider Solitaire window.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Maximize the Spider Solitaire window. If this does not resolve the issue, proceed to the next step.
  2. Increase your display resolution. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
    2. Double-click Display.
    3. On the Settings tab, move the Screen Area slider to the right to increase the display resolution.
    4. Click OK. If you are prompted to restart the computer, do so.
