OFF98: FileFind Method Returns All Files (185975)

When you create a procedure that uses the FileFind method in Visual Basic
for Applications, all files are returned.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
- You specify a value of msoFileTypeBinders for the FileType argument of
the FileFind method.
-or-
- You specify a value of msoFileTypeDatabases for the FileType argument of
the FileFind method.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
MORE INFORMATION
Although they are listed separately in the Help topic for the FileType
property, the built-in constants msoFileTypeBinders and
msoFileTypeDatabases return the same results as the msoFileTypeAllFiles
when you use them with the Microsoft products that are listed at the
beginning of this article.
NOTE: These FileTypes are used in Visual Basic for Applications in the
Microsoft Office 97 for Windows programs.
