When you view dividend information in MSN Money Investing, the payable date for a
dividend may be incorrect.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because the dividend information is provided to
MSN Money Investing on the ex-dividend date. Because there is not a standard time
between the ex-dividend date and the dividend pay date, MSN Money Investing can make
the pay date the incorrect day.RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, manually change the pay date in Transaction
Details. To do this, follow these steps:
- In Portfolio Manager, click the name of the security to expand the transactions list.
- Click the transaction that you want to change, and then click Edit.
- In the Date box, type the correct pay date, and then click OK.
- Click the name of the security to collapse the transaction list.
