XL98: Patterned Cells Print Solid Black (185311)

If you print cells with patterned formatting on a black and white printer,
the printer prints the cells as solid black instead of patterned.
CAUSE
This problem may occur when the following conditions are true:
- The cells on your worksheet are blue or dark blue.
-and-
- The cells are formatted with patterns.
WORKAROUND
To prevent this problem from occurring, do not color cells blue or dark
blue when using patterns. To change the color of a cell to something other
than blue or dark blue, follow these steps:
- Select the cells colored blue.
- On the Format menu, click Cells, and then click the Patterns tab.
- Under Color, click another color you would like to use, and then click
OK.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel 98
Macintosh Edition.
