SYMPTOMS

If you install the updated Microsoft Windows 3.x video driver for the S3 Virge 325 Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) display adapter, and then upgrade to Windows 98, you may receive the following error message:
Cannot load s3_95.dll correctly!

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, uninstall the updated Microsoft Windows 3.x video driver for the S3 Virge 325 PCI display adapter. For information about how to do so, consult the documentation included with your display adapter, or contact the manufacturer of your display adapter.
