IntelliPoint: Cannot Select Window by Pointing at Title Bar (184804)

SYMPTOMS

When you enable the Focus feature of the IntelliPoint software, you are unable to select a window just by pointing at the title bar, as is stated beside the Focus check box in the Mouse tool in Control Panel.

CAUSE

The Focus feature of the IntelliPoint software is disabled in Windows 98.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft IntelliPoint software, version 2.2.

MORE INFORMATION

Windows 98 includes a built-in Focus feature, which disables the Focus feature of the IntelliPoint software. The Windows 98 version of the Focus feature works only with icons, not with window title bars.
