- The HP DeskJet driver you selected is using its default settings for
printing envelopes.
-or-
- You are printing to an HP DeskJet 870 printer and the envelope is fed
from the wrong side of the printer.
RESOLUTION
If you are having problems with the orientation or feed of an envelope when
printing from Publisher, use the steps below to assist you in resolving the
problem:
- On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Printing tab.
- Click to select the "Print Envelopes using these settings" check box.
- Click the Orientation and Feed options you want to use, and then click
OK.
- Feed the envelope into your printer using the settings you made in steps
1 through 3.
- Print your envelope.
NOTE: If you are printing to an HP DeskJet 870, the envelope feed settings
will be reversed. If you select the left option, the printer will try
to feed and print the envelope on the right. To work around this
problem, feed the envelope from the opposite side of the printer,
based on the settings you made on the Printing tab in the Options
dialog box. Similar results have been reported on the HP DeskJet 722c
