  • In the Microsoft Office 98 folder, create a new folder named Templates. Then, run the Value Pack Installer, select the Business Tools And Templates check box, and then click Install.

After you install the templates, you can move all of the folders and files from the Templates folder into the folder that you want to use.

STATUS

MORE INFORMATION

The Business Tools And Templates option in the Microsoft Office 98 Value Pack includes the Business Guide, checklists that complement the Business Guide, and 43 small business templates for Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Because of the way in which the Value Pack Installer is designed, it can install only the Business Tools And Templates files if the Templates folder exists in the Microsoft Office 98 folder on your hard disk. If this folder has been deleted or renamed, none of the files are installed, and you receive the error message that is described in this article.

For more information about the Business Tools and Templates, please open the "About the Value Pack" Help file in the Value Pack folder on your Microsoft Office 98 compact disc; then, click Value Pack Components and click Business Tools And Templates.
