Small Business Server Console Does Not Update after Adding a New Fax Printer (184220)

SYMPTOMS

After you add or remove a fax printer from the Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server (SBS) Console, the Manage Faxes window does not display the newly added or deleted fax printer.

CAUSE

The Console screen is not refreshed.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, click another task (that is, More Tasks) and then click Manage Faxes. The newly created fax printer will be displayed.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server version 4.0 and 4.0a. We are researching this problem and will post additional information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
