When you receive new mail on a desktop computer and then synchronize a
Handheld PC (H/PC) with the desktop computer, the new mail icon remains
on the taskbar of the desktop computer. If you delete the message from
Pocket Outlook on the H/PC and then resynchronize the H/PC with the
desktop computer, the new mail icon still appears on the taskbar.
RESOLUTION
To remove the new mail icon from the taskbar, open, move, or delete a
message from the Inbox folder on the desktop computer.
