OFF98: Not Enough Memory Error Starting Unbind (183880)

When you attempt to run the Microsoft Unbind utility program, you receive
the following error message:
There is not enough memory to load the Microsoft Office 98 Microsoft
OLEBase Library shared library.
When you click OK, you receive the following error message:
Assert:OLEInitialize Failed
When you click OK again, you are returned to the desktop.
CAUSE
This problem may occur when the following conditions are true:
- You install Microsoft Office 98 by using the drag-and-drop method.
-and-
- You install the Unbind utility.
-and-
- You run the Unbind utility before you start any of the Office 98
programs.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, start one of the Office 98 programs before you
use the Unbind utility for the first time.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem with the programs listed at
the beginning of this article.

The Unbind utility that is included in the Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh
Edition Value Pack allows you to extract the sections from a binder file
and save them as separate workbooks, documents, and presentations.
