This article provides a detailed description of the bar code label affixed to the top of every package of Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition. If you believe that a customer has any of the following problems

  • A CD key issue, such as a missing or corrupted CD key
  • A manufacturing problem, such as a damaged CD
  • Any other issue for which the MTS Office Product Leads have requested this information
you may need to obtain specific bar code information from the customer and forward it to the MTS Office Product Leads (offleads@microsoft.com). This information allows Microsoft to determine where problems may be occurring in the software package manufacturing process.
