SYMPTOMS

When you move a pointing device, such as a mouse, over a link in the Object Browser in the Visual Basic Editor, the pointer changes into a very small cursor in the shape of a pointing hand. Depending on the resolution of your monitor, the pointer may barely be visible.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

MORE INFORMATION

When you move the pointer over a hyperlink, the pointer changes into a pointing hand. This pointing hand is usually roughly the same size as the arrow or plus pointer. In the Object Browser, however, the pointing hand appears very small. At 640 x 480 resolution, the pointer barely resembles a pointing hand; at higher resolutions, the pointer is even harder to recognize.

It is not possible to change the shape of the pointer when it touches a link in the Object Browser.
