If you are participating in a NetMeeting conference, when you start Internet Explorer from within a shared Microsoft Office 97 program, Internet Explorer starts, but it may not be shared. Note that starting a program from within a shared program normally shares the new program.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, share Internet Explorer after you start it. For information about sharing programs in NetMeeting, click Help Topics on the Help menu, click the Index tab, type "sharing" (without quotation marks), click the "Sharing Applications" topic, and then click Display.
