When logging on to a Windows NT system, some or all users are unable to log
on successfully.
CAUSE
The above symptom may occur if the value of any System Environment Variable
contains an equal sign (=). If Winlogon gets an error when trying to set an
environment variable, the logon attempt will fail.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the
