Administrators of the Microsoft Exchange Server Internet Mail Connector
(IMC) will find message importance levels are mishandled under specific
circumstances.
CAUSE
The problem occurs when delivery notices (DNs) and read notices (RNs) are
included with messages sent to Exchange Server users over the IMC.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 4.0 forWindows NT. MORE INFORMATION
The non-delivery report comes back with no exclamation point and the non-read notification comes back with the exclamation point.
