XL97: Windows Are Restored After Adding Worksheet to Binder (170839)

SYMPTOMS

When you insert a Microsoft Excel 97 section into a binder, you may notice that the windows that are open in the Microsoft Excel 97 program are no longer maximized.

WORKAROUND

Currently, there is no work around for this behavior.

STATUS

This behavior is by design in the Microsoft Office 97 programs listed at the beginning of this article. This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Excel 2000.
