FIX: GPF When Expanding Links in Japanese Visual InterDev (168296)

A General Protection Fault (GPF) occurs when you expand links on a link off of a page name that contains Double Byte Character Set (DBCS) characters. This error occurs in the Japanese version of Visual InterDev 1.0
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This bug was corrected in VisualStudio 97 Service Pack 1.
