SUMMARY

In Microsoft Outlook you can use the Contacts list to populate a resource list in Microsoft Team Manager.

If you have a contacts list set up in Outlook it is possible to have Team Manager use this as your list of resources.

To use the Outlook Contacts list, do the following:

  1. Add the Outlook Address Book service in Outlook. To see if you have this service installed:

    1. On the Tools menu, click Services.
    2. If you do not see Outlook Address Book in the list of services, click Add and then click Outlook Address Book. Click OK twice to return to Outlook.
  2. On the File menu, click "Exit and Log Off," Then restart Outlook.
  3. On the Go menu, click Contacts.
  4. On the File menu, point to Folder, and click Properties for Contacts.
  5. On the "Outlook Address Book" tab click to select" Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book" and click OK.
  6. On the File menu, click "Exit and Log Off", then restart Outlook.
  7. Start Team Manager.
  8. On the People tab, click Add People and then click Address Book.
  9. In the "Show Names from the" list click Contacts which will be indented under the heading for Outlook Address Book. Only those contacts with e-mail addresses will be listed.
