XL97: Export Method Code Example in Help Is Incorrect (166338)

In Microsoft Excel 97, when you run a Visual Basic for Applications macro
that exports a chart into a GIF file, you may receive the following error
message:
Run-time error '1004':
Application-defined or object-defined error
CAUSE
This problem occurs if you use the OutputFileName argument with the Export
method. Note that this argument is used in the example code for the topic
for the Export method in the Microsoft Excel Visual Basic Help file. The
argument in the example is as follows:
Charts(1).Export _
OutputFileName:="current_sales.gif", FilterName:="GIF"
This problem occurs because the Export method has no OutputFileName
argument.

To resolve this problem, change the argument name from OutputFileName to
FileName. For example, use the following code:
Charts(1).Export FileName:="current_sales.gif", FilterName:="GIF"
After you do this, the command works correctly.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
