SUMMARY

When you send a message in Microsoft Exchange Client, you can specify how attachments are encoded when they are sent via the Internet Mail Connector. These options are as follows:

  • Don't Know
  • MIME
  • uuencode
  • BinHex

MORE INFORMATION

If you choose the Don't Know option, then the attachment is sent using the Exchange Server Internet Mail Connector default setting (MIME, uuencode, or BinHex) that is specified by the Exchange Administrator program.
